The Southern California Branch of the American Society for Microbiology (SCASM) gratefully acknowledges those who sponsor our organization. SCASM also expresses our thanks to the American Society for Microbiology (ASM), which also provides SCASM with many services and excellent foundation speakers for many of our meetings.
Education is a major component in the purpose of SCASM. Through its educational activities, SCASM contributes to the profession and helps to increase, refine, and perpetuate the microbiologist’s body of knowledge. Sponsorship of SCASM allows us to present these many valuable programs to microbiologists in our area.
