Congratulations to the 2009 Greater San Diego Science Fair Winners!

1.  Present poster on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the SCASM meeting at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines in San Diego, CA.

2.  Top three posters win up to $1800

2.  Discuss career opportunities with Dr. Michael Sadowsky, Director BioTechnology Institute, University of Minnesota on Satursday, October 24, 2009 AM

3.  Attend national ASM 2010 meeting for education, networking, and career exploration.

 


Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to submit poster presentations for the 2009 SCASM Annual Meeting. Current SCASM President Diane Citron encourages students to submit:

"Last year SCASM, in conjunction with bioMerieux Incorporated, sponsored three graduate student poster winners to attend the 2008 National ASM meeting in Boston, Massachusetts. All three students presented their posters at the ASM national meeting. SCASM encourages students within our region and hopes to see more graduate students at the 2009 Annual Meeting. The student travel awards are perpetual awards and will be given out each year to the top three poster winners at our Annual Meeting in October.”

If you are interested in submitting a poster, please email Ann Grasmick at  ann.grasmick@gmail.com  to request an abstract form.  The abstract form must be completed to have your poster considered.
